[Individualmembers] "Dinner-To-Go, " Academic Lives, and Elections Reminder

Dear Members -

We hope that you are enjoying the rainy day weather.  This is the weather
to enjoy homemade soups and hearty entrees.  Join us on rainy days in both
January and February and enjoy complimentary hot spiced cider with your
lunch!

Join us also for our first "Academic Lives" of the spring semester on
Thursday, February 9th.  Board President Eleanor Swift will moderate a
conversation on dual career couples in academia.  Participants range from a
post-doc to emerti professors.  Join us for what promises to be a
fascinating conversation on "Valentines in Academia."  Event starts at 4:00
p.m. and is followed by a reception.  Event flyer is attached.

Yoga classes resume in February and offer members a chance to stretch the
winter blues away.  The Spring series will be held on most Monday and Friday
evenings and are an incredible bargain!  Members enjoy  19 classes for just
$35.  Registration is available at

Election ballots will be in the mail soon in preparation for our Annual
Meeting on February 22nd.  Remember to vote!

Don't forget to sign up for the first "Dinner-To-Go" of the new year. This
week's entree is Duck Leg Confit, leg of duck prepared in a traditional
French style - cured with salt, poached and over-crisped; served with French
green lentils and arugula salad, $12.45. The vegetarian option is French
Green Lentils with braised winter vegetables; served with arugula salad,
$10.75. Please call ahead for soup and dessert options. Feel free to fax,
email or call in your orders by Tuesday at 3 pm.
