Dear Members -

We look forward to greeting each of you in the new year.  The Dining Room
reopens tomorrow and we have several events planned for the coming months.

Our first "Academic Lives" of the spring semester is scheduled for
Thursday, February 9th.  Board President Eleanor Swift will moderate a
conversation on dual career couples in academia.  Participants range from
a post-doc to emerti professors.  Join us for what promises to be a
fascinating conversation on "Valentines in Academia."  Event starts at
4:00 p.m. and is followed by a reception.  Event flyer is attached.

Yoga classes will resume in February and offer members a chance to stretch
the winter blues away.  Classes are held most Monday and Friday evenings
and are offered through the campus WorkFit Program.  These classes are
available free-of-charge to our hotel guests - one more reason to book
your guests at the Club!

Election ballots will be in the mail soon in preparation for our Annual
Meeting on February 22nd.  All members are invited to the meeting which
recaps the work of the Board throughout the past year.  New Board members
will be installed and outgoing members honored for their work.

Don't forget to sign up for the first "Dinner-To-Go" of the new year. This
week's entree is Chicken Tagine made with Mary's Free Range Chicken, figs,
almonds and honey; served with couscous, $12.25. The vegetarian option is
Root Vegetable Tagine served with couscous, $10.75. Please call ahead for
soup and dessert options. Feel free to fax, email or call in your orders
by Tuesday at 3 pm.
