Opportunity for Young Changemakers:

The Changemaker Project <http://thechangemakerproject.org/> is a nonprofit
initiative based here in Berkeley which empowers youth all over the world
to innovate social change. Each spring, teams of youth learn about social
and environmental justice issues, build their own creative solutions to
important problems, and compete to win seed funding for their projects.
Over the past two years, we've had six teams from Berkeley High compete in
the Global Pitch event and win funding for their projects.

The Changemaker Project club at BHS is starting up next Tuesday, Feb. 18th
afterschool in room H205. Students who are interested in learning more
should come to the meeting-- all are welcome and snacks will be provided.

Contact Matt Albinson mattalbinson at berkeley.net with questions.
