1.    Scholarship Opportunity for Families with Low Income:
CAP Bay Area Making Waves: On-line application due December, 2016
Information Meeting For CAP Making Waves Scholarship for Seniors in the CCC on Nov. 16 at Lunch (11:38-12:18)

Eligibility requirements include:
* Graduating in 2017
* 4 year college bound
* Low income: Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) below $5,000
* Bay Area Resident (Alameda, Contra Costa, Maring, Napa, SF, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma)


2.    Scholarship Opportunity from Alameda Elks Club: Due On-Line Nov. 30
Eligibility requirements:
* High school senior
* US citizen; permanent legal resident status does not qualify
* Take the SAT or ACt befroe 11/5/16

3.    Scholarship from Berkeley Community Fund (BCF): Information Meeting in CCC: Dec. 7 at Lunch: Due On-Line in March, 2017 (application not available yet- opens in January)

*4 year college
* Minimum GPA of 2.5 for High Hopes Scholarship; 3.5 for Class of '51 Scholarship
