The first Safety Committee meeting will be held from 4:30 to 6:00 in 
Room H104 on the second Tuesday of October, Oct. 8. This year's meetings 
will occur on the second Tuesday of each month, with additional meetings 
on the 4th Tuesday only on an as-needed basis, for subcommittee work, 
speakers, etc. This is a change from the schedule announced earlier this 
month in the etree.

The Committee is open to all interested students, teachers, staff, and 
parents.   We hope you will come check it out; it's the best way to get 
involved in assessing a broad range of school culture, discipline, and 
safety issues and helping to make the school even more successful in 
those areas.
