Today the City of Berkeley has temporarily closed our indoor pool due to 
water chemistry levels exceeding normal operating conditions.

We are actively and diligently working on this problem. Depending on the 
adjustments, the pool could be closed for the rest of the week. However, 
the pool will remain closed until the problem is corrected and it passes 
inspection.

Mindful of these issues and prior to this report from the city, we were 
already in the process of securing an inspection from an independent 
contractor to make sure our pool was safe for students. That inspection 
is scheduled for tomorrow and we will make sure to provide updates and 
recommendations as soon as they become available.
