*3. February is teen Dating Violence Awareness Month! Dating violence is abusive behavior that one person in a relationship uses to take power and control over their partner. That can include anything from taking or breaking a partner’s belongings, to making threats, physical violence, or preventing a partner from seeing friends or friends. One in three teens experiences some form of dating abuse, and many are afraid to report it. If you or someone you know is experiencing teen dating violence, you are not alone! Also, don’t forget to come through to the senior steps during lunch today to talk about teen dating violence and win prizes. We will be giving away candy, stress stars, and land yards. Hope to see you there!
