Dear Proctors,
First of all, thank you all for volunteering your time. In a previous
message I posted general proctor instructions from me. Below are specific
instructions for both IB and AP proctors. Please look them over at least
once before you come in. There will be a paid administrator at the test who
will go over them when you arrive.
If you are an IB proctor:
The link below will connect you directly to specific instructions:

If you are an AP proctor:
Instructions for AP Exam Parent Volunteers
* Please report to the morning exam sites by 7:30 a.m. And to the
afternoon exam sites by 11:45 a.m.
Duties
* Assist with check-in.
* The student roster is listed alphabetically. Students' seat
assignments correspond to their number on the roster. Students with an
asterisk have accommodations and after the general instructions, they will
be escorted (by one of you) to another location to do the exam. They will be
seated in the back of the room from where they can exit quietly. As students
arrive, check their photo ID, have them sign the roster and give them their
student pack and answer sheet. Direct them to their assigned seat.
* Assist with the distribution of testing materials.
* All exam materials are to be distributed individually. Do not ask
students to pass exam packets to others. As the supervisor reads the
instructions, assist students with filling out their identification
information.
* During the testing, walk around the room. In large test groups, one
person should be stationed in the bathroom area to insure that only one
student is in the restroom at a time and that no cell phones (which are
prohibited) are visible. Monitor the restroom area during the scheduled 10
minute break. During the break students may eat a small snack.
* Assist in the collection of materials.
* Assist in alphabetizing the answer sheets and in sorting the student
packs in groups for the next test taken. Check to see that no materials are
left behind. Help to return the testing materials to C117.
