Good morning,

 

The District’s budget process will soon be coming to a close.  While always
subject to change, the current proposal includes increases to fees for older
adult classes and reductions in staff at Berkeley High School. 

The Board and the District still want to hear from you.  Here are a number
of ways to express your opinions:

 

·         Attend a School Board Meeting.  They start at 7:30pm on May 9, May
23, June 6, June 20 and June 27 at 2134 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, in the
Board Room.

·         Attend a Budget Advisory Committee Meeting.  They start at 5:30pm
on May 1, May 15, May 22 (if needed) at 1720 Oregon Street.

·         Attend a BSEP P & O Committee Meeting.  They start at 7:15pm on
May 1, May 15, and May 29.

·         Email the Board: boardofed at berkeley.net

·         Call the Board: 510-644-6550
