The BHS Parent College Handbook Committee is seeking someone to help
finalize the formatting of the Spanish-translation of the BHS College
Application Handbook for Parents and Families of Seniors for the Class of
2012.  The document is in Microsoft Word. We seek someone who could do
this between approximately August 20 and September 7.  Our experience
suggests that this is a lot easier to do on a PC (rather than a Mac),
because the translator uses a PC to make changes in the Word files.
Fluency in Spanish is not necessary, but the ability to check for
consistency of the text by matching paragraphs would be helpful.

 

The Spanish-translation of the BHS College Application Handbook greatly
helps Spanish-speaking parents at Berkeley High because it makes college
information more accessible.  If you can help with this activity, please
contact Frances Cohen (frances.cohen at ucsf.edu).
