In the past week several parents of incoming 9th graders whose children signed up for classes in early spring have inquired as to when they will hear from the Berkeley High regarding assignments. Learning community assignments are scheduled to be mailed home at the end of May/beginning of June. When they are mailed, I will post this fact on the Etree so that you may look out for them. This letter will not include a specific schedule of teachers and periods. 

The specific class schedule for incoming freshmen will be handed out on August 23 during orientation/registration. On that day students will also receive their locker assignments, some textbooks, turn in forms, go on tours, etc. All will be explained in the summer packet which will probably be mailed home at the beginning of August.
