Guess what's hot over Spring Break? Video Camp! Berkeley Community Media is hosting a five day training teaching teens how to work in a television studio.
This will include learning to operate cameras, sound production, design lights, and other essential TV production skills enabling teens to tell their own stories through video productions. At the end of camp, students will receive a DVD copy of their work. In addition, their programs will be shown on BETV, Channel 28, for viewing by the public.
Goals: Learn skills, tell your story and get air time!
Dates: Monday March 29th through Friday April 2nd from 12 - 4 pm each day
Age Requirement: 13 and up
Location: Berkeley Community Media Studios at 2239 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Berkeley CA
Instructor: Highly skilled BCM studio technician with extensive teaching experience
Cost for the 5-Day Training: $395
Financial Aid: May be available to qualified students upon submission of proof of financial need (such as tax forms, paystubs, social security, etc.)
Deadline to apply: Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 5pm
