ADMINISTRATION

1. No school, Wednesday, November 25th thru Friday, November 27 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

2. Attention BHS students and staff: Canned food drive to get cans for the Holiday Meal. Please be generous and bring as many cans as you can to your 2nd period classes. Place in the crates and winning class gets a party. Please donate cans. Holiday meal is December 12th.

CLUBS

*1. New club forming! Minorities for Change. Not sure if you have enough extracurricular activities on your resume? Minorities for Change focuses on community projects by the students of BHS and Leadership development. Be on the lookout for the first meeting Dec. 7th after school in Room A105.

*2. Earphone English today at lunch in C116. Which one is better? The movie or the book? Come hear other's opinions...

SPORTS
       
*BHS Football – Playoffs round two at BHS on Saturday night! Come support the JACKETS Football as they play Monte Vista! Game time - 7 pm

SENIOR /JUNIOR SECTION

1. SENIORS!  Want to buy a large copy of the senior spellout picture?? Come take a look at it and purchase your own copy for only $5 in the Leadership Office at lunch or after school. And come and get them quick - LIMITED COPIES ARE AVAILABLE!

*2. After school UC, CSU and Common Application workshops for Seniors only. Monday, November 23, 2009, 3:30 – 8:00 pm and Tuesday, November 24, 2009, 3:30 – 8:00pm. Interested students sign up in the College Career Center - D221.

EVENTS/PERFORMANCES 
  
Open Mic - Hip Hop, Poetry, Spoken Word, and singing on Friday, December 4th from 6-9 pm (for ages 12-18). Takes place at Frances Albrier Community Center - 2800 Park St.
