Dear ACADEMIC CHOICE Parents and Guardians
Please join us at a Community Meeting 


Saturday, February 21, 10 am to noon
South Berkeley Senior Center, 2939 Ellis St 
(at Ashby & MLK, 2 blocks West of the Ashby BART station), Berkeley,
CA 94703

Academic Choice is reaching out to parents and guardians in our
community to participate in Parent Leadership. We seek individuals who
are reflective of AC's diverse student population; we specifically
encourage African American, Latino, Asian and multi-ethnic families to
join our team.

Please join us for an informal community meeting open to all AC
parents and guardians. Meet AC's parent leaders, and learn more about
the Academic Choice program and the many opportunities to get involved
as a volunteer and/or as a member of the AC leadership group. 

Meeting discussion items:
1. Introductions & questions
2. Brainstorming an AC community celebration for this spring
3. Planning/scheduling follow-up meetings
4. Brainstorming other priorities for the parent leadership group
