 1. (in English, followed by Spanish)  Information on School Choices at
Berkeley High School in Spanish

Spanish-speaking parents of 8th graders are invited to a meeting in Spanish
to hear about the small schools and programs at the high school.  The
meeting will be held on Monday, March 14 from 7 to 9 pm at St. Joseph the
Worker Church/School, 1640 Addison Street in Berkeley.

Parents and guardians are welcome, with or without their children.
Refreshments will be served. Spanish-speaking teachers, parents and students
from Communications Arts and Sciences (CAS), Community Partnerships Academy
(CPA), the School for Social Justice and Ecology (SSJE), the Arts and
Humanities Academy (AHA!), and Academic Choice (AC) will be there to speak
and answer questions.

2.  Información En Español Sobre Alternativas Escolares En Berkeley High
School

Se invita a  los padres hispano-hablantes de estudiantes del 8avo. grado a
una reunión para informarse sobre las pequeñas escuelas y programas en la
preparatoria  Berkeley High.  La reunión se llevará a cabo el lunes 14 de
marzo de las 7 a las 9 pm en la iglesia St Joseph the Worker (San José
Obrero), 1640 Addison Street, Berkeley.

Tanto padres como guardianes son bienvenidos, con o sin sus hijos. Habrá
refrescos.Se contará con la presencia de maestros que hablan español de las
escuelitas que contestarán a sus preguntas sobre:  CAS (Comunicaciones,
Artes y Ciencias) CPA (Academia de Asociaciones Comunitarias), SSJE (Escuela
para la Justicia Social y la Ecología), AHA (Academia de Artes y
Humanidades), AC  (Alternativas Académicas).
