Make A Difference to Berkeley High Kids—Be a Writing Coach
It’s not too late to become a writing coach!  Join WriterCoach Connection™
and enjoy the satisfaction of being an academic mentor this Spring.  We
still have spaces available in our last training session of the school year.

WriterCoach Connection™ (WCC) pairs trained volunteers with students to help
them master the writing and critical thinking skills needed to complete
assignments and succeed.  Coaches commit to a regular, 1 or 2-hour/week
assignment and meet weekly, during the school day, to work one-on-one with
students in their English classes.

Learn the step-by-step methods to coach students--including your own—at our
training:

Session C:   Tuesdays      Mar 8 & 15      6:30-9:30 PM

Help kids with an important skill they will use throughout their lives.  For
a small investment of time, writing coaches support kids and teachers and
can stay tuned in to what is going on at school.
