[BHS etree] SPORTS: soccer, wrestling, and basketball! (five items)

1. Congratulations to the Girls' Soccer team on their Round 1 NCS Tournament
victory 1-0 over California High in the final seconds of the game last
Wednesday night on our home turf.  On Saturday they face Foothill High
school here at 7 pm.  Tickets are $5 students/$8 adults.


2. Good luck to the BHS wrestlers in the league tournament held all day
Friday  at Athenian High School.

3. On Friday the boys basketball team travels to DeAnza for 5:30 jv/7:00
varsity games.  The girls basketball team plays at home versus DeAnza. Game
time 4:00 jv/5:30 varsity.

4. Following the girls basketball game, at 7:00 the Berkeley Police
Department will play the Berkeley Fire Department in the 2nd Annual Police
vs. Fire Charity game.  Ticket prices are $3 student and $5 adult. Proceeds
will go toward PAL and Scholarships for those interested in a career in the
Fire/EMS service.

5. Nest week is the final week of league basketball.  Student prices $1 all
week!!!! You must show your id.  Staff members get in free with id.  On
Tuesday 2/22, the girls play Hercules, jv 5:30/V 7:00.  On Friday, the boys
play El Cerrito, jv 5:30/V 7:00.  Come cheer on your basketball teams.  Both
the girls and boys will head to NCS tournament play following the league
season.  Go Jackets!
