FOR JUNIORS AND SOPHOMORES
PSAT - The PSAT is a practice test for the SAT. For juniors, the PSAT
is also the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship. It
will be given at Berkeley High on Saturday, October 16th . Sign-ups
will begin on Wednesday, September 22 and will continue through
Wednesday, October 6. Monies will be collected during lunch at the D
building ticket windows on Allston Way. The cost of the test is $22
(cash only). On October 16, students will report at 8 a.m. to the
garden to find their room assignments. The test will be administered in
the C building. Students should be done by 11:30.
REPEAT SECTION
ESSAY READERS will be available in the College/Career Center on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday at lunchtime. Start your essay early and get
feedback from experienced readers.
UC/CSU Application Workshops: All workshops will be in the library
computer lab. You must sign up in advance in D221 as there are a
limited number of computers available. The schedule is as follows:
