Greetings from your friendly neighborhood Internet Service Provider,
While we’re sure that many of you have received countless emails
from other companies detailing their response to COVID19, the
shelter-in-place order, and the shift to working from home where
possible, we would like to take the time to reassure our members of our
continued support as we adjust to these new circumstances. We, like many
other companies, have shifted most of our workforce to remote positions
but maintain our reliable and personalized support. We understand how
important the internet is at this time for both work and personal use,
and we’re here to help you stay connected. We have increased our
availability to include Sundays as well as Saturdays, for both phone and
email support, and maintain staff at our office Monday through Friday to
facilitate equipment exchanges and upgrades. As always, please don’t
hesitate to contact us <https://www.lmi.net/about/contact/>if you’re
experiencing issues with your service.
As we’re sure many of you are learning, we are now living in the
age of video calls for work, school, and socialization; and streaming
content is becoming more prevalent than ever. As such, we’ve noticed an
uptick in internet related issues even for those who have our Phiber
service. More often than not, the issue stems from WiFi and we’d like to
educate our members on how to best optimize as well as provide resources
for improving their service with us. You can read our article on WiFi,
how it affects your experience with the internet, and some potential
solutions here <https://www.lmi.net/blog/understanding-wifi/>.
In addition to our internet services, we also provide extensive
technical support services for local businesses throughout the Bay Area.
We periodically send out informative emails to our clients to educate
and inform them of current events related to security and trends in
modern technology that may benefit their staff and the company as a
whole. We wanted to make one of these updates available on our website
here <https://www.lmi.net/blog/a-message-to-our-it-clients/>, as the
section on security may prevent a crisis in these challenging times. If
you’d like to discuss how we can help implement solutions to better
adapt and secure your company in these times, don’t hesitate to contact
us <https://www.lmi.net/about/contact/>.
Stay safe. We’ll get through this together.
We sincerely thank you for being an LMi.net member.
