Dear BHS Parents/Guardians,


*Please join us TOMORROW October 25, 2023 from 6-7:30pm in the Berkeley
High Library for a parent information night on **Supporting Teenagers
Experiencing Depression & Anxiety**. *The conversation will be facilitated
by Rachel Krow-Boniske, the BHS Wellness Counselor.  You can enter through
the main entrance on Allston Way and Milvia St.


We will:

   - Discuss the signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety
   - Explore the continuum of depression and anxiety
   - Learn skills for supporting your teenage child
   experiencing depression and anxiety
   - Practice having supportive conversations with your child

Spanish interpretation will be provided. There are stairs/elevators to the
2nd floor. Please contact rachelkrowboniske at berkeley.net with accessibility
needs or questions.



*We are hosting monthly Parent Mental Health Info Nights on the last
Wednesday of the month. *Please join us again on November 29, 2023 for a
discussion on the impact of technology, screen time & social media on
mental health.
