The Spring Season has begun!

The 2023 Spring Season has begun for BHS Athletics!  Spring is the busiest
season with a dozen different sports competing across multiple levels with
over 600 student athletes training every day to represent Berkeley High
School.  Competitions start next week!



The start of a new sports season is a good opportunity to make sure you
have joined the Berkeley High Booster Club

school year!  Recent donations have funded stipends for coaches across all
programs, new timing equipment for the 80-person swim team, a new pole
vaulting pit, concussion baseline testing for contact sports and more.



The Berkeley Athletic Fund introduced the Coaches Fund

earlier this year to highlight the important impact Coaches have on student
athletes and we are within a couple thousand dollars of reaching our
fundraising goal for the school year.

Berkeley High Coaches are being recognized!  Berkeley High Wrestling Coach
(and math teacher) Ben Nathan has been recognized as the 2023 NCS Wrestling
Honor Coach.  Berkeley High Football Coach (and alum) David Perry was a
finalist for the West Coast Preps Coach of the Year.  Berkeley High Boys
Lacrosse Coach (and alum) Jerem Stothers was selected as the NCS
representative for the NFHS California State Coach of the Year award for
Boys Lacrosse.  Support continued excellence in coaching today
