We are super excited to be hosting BHS Alum Jetta Grace Martin, and UC
Berkeley professor Dr. Waldo E. Martin Jr., in conversation about their
awesome book Freedom! The Story of the Black Panther Party.


Written accessibly, incredibly beautiful, and crafted with young folks in
mind, this book is for everyone! In collaboration, Mrs. Dalloway's is
offering a 15% discount on purchases.

Students who buy a copy will be invited to the event on February 28th in
the BHS Library. Copies can also be donated to Berkeley High's literature
circle collection to be read in classrooms and with book clubs. Other
students who are interested in attending can come to the BHS Library to
request a field trip slip (teacher permission required).


Please help us celebrate and support local authors, and local stories.
