Dear BUSD Parents and Caregivers,

It is very important for district funding and to qualify students for
numerous potential benefits that families fill out the free/reduced price
school meal application form at ezmealapp.com <http://www.ezmealapp.com/>.
While parents and caregivers can fill out this form at any time during the
year, *November 30 is the application deadline for critical district
funding determinations.*  Every qualified application counts towards
bringing additional federal and state funding to our schools, providing
additional resources to help students meet academic benchmarks.


Additionally, if your child qualifies as “free” or “reduced” after filling
out this application, you can use the Eligibility Letter we provide when
applying for other services, including P-EBT cards
<https://capandemic-ebt.org/>, and to take advantage of discounts such as
free or reduced prices on school yearbooks, tickets for events, graduation
fees, and testing, such as SATs.
