Dear BHS Students (and Families),


As we near the start of prom ticket sales next week, I wanted to take a few
moments to highlight some very important information regarding our behavior
policy for prom eligibility. This information will also be included on the
ticket sales website when you purchase your ticket, but I wanted to make
sure you receive it via email as well.


Students may not be allowed to participate in prom if any of the following
apply:

   - 30 or more period unverified absences for any class from August 2021 -
   March 2022.
   - Suspension for any discipline matter (for prom, this policy will be in
   effect after February 14). Each suspension will be reviewed by the admin
   team collectively for determination about exclusion from prom.


All of that being said, it is my sincere hope that all those who wish to
attend prom will remain eligible so that they can enjoy a memorable night
of fun with friends and classmates. It has been a challenging year for
many, and I truly hope this event will be a high school experience that
brings you all some much deserved joy. Please make wise choices so you
don’t miss out, and I hope to see you there at the SF Galleria next month!
