Dear Berkeley High Families,
Based on the New Isolation Guidelines

for
students and staff who test positive for COVID messaged to families by
Superintendent Stephens on January 8th, *please make sure to notify *
*covidcase at berkeley.net* <covidcase at berkeley.net>* as well as Principal
Raygoza (**juanraygoza at berkeley.net* <juanraygoza at berkeley.net>*) and BHS
Attendance Office (**attendanceoffice at berkeley.net*
<attendanceoffice at berkeley.net>*) if your student tests positive for COVID*.
The BHS attendance office will clear your student's absences for 5 days. A
student who tests negative and meets the other health criteria can return
to school on Day 6. In case your student tests positive for COVID on Day 6
or continues to have a fever or other symptoms, please keep them home and
notify the attendance office again as well. If you have any questions
about BHS attendance, please email Aman Watson at amanwatson at berkeley.net.
Thank you!
