Congratulations for your acceptances!!

*If you did not receive the results you wanted, please consider the
following ideas and make another plan with your counselor.*
1. Give yourself time to process your feelings.
2. Get excited about other schools.
3. Consider community college and transfer, especially Transfer Admissions
Guarantee (TAG) program to 6 UC campuses, CSUs, and HBCUs.
4. Find colleges with late or rolling admissions and apply now.
Niche: https://www.niche.com/colleges/search/top-rolling-admissions-colleges/
New List Coming Soon- The National Association for College Admission
Counseling (NACAC) will have an updated list of College Openings for 2021
in May. This list will include mostly 4 year colleges that will accept late
applications for Fall 2021.
*NACAC: https://www.nacacnet.org/news--publications/newsroom/college-openings-update/
5. Take a Gap Year and reapply next fall for Fall 2022. Work, volunteer,
intern, travel.
6. Appeal the decision if you had a mistake in the application or have new,
compelling information that you did not include in the original
application. Each campus has its own procedures and deadlines to appeal and
will warn that it is rare to reverse a decision.

In collaboration with ASB Leadership, the CCC will host a *Virtual
College Rejection Letter Wall* on the counseling IG

*What is it? *a platform for students to share their rejection experiences,
process, hear encouragement from their community, and ultimately normalize
that rejection is part of life and necessary for growth.

*How do I submit? *by clicking your way to this google form linked here

1. Sign up now, even if you change your mind and do not start until the
fall semester.
