[BHS Etree] ADMIN: BHS Quarter 3 (Terms 5/6) Grades Update

Hello BHS Families,

If you have any questions after reading this message do not reply to this
email. Please contact your student's teachers and/or SLC or Department
Administrator.

We are currently in Term 6. The original timeline for mailing progress
report cards included sending home a Quarter 3 Progress Report Card for
Term 5 and 6 (combined) during the second week of Term 7 (mid-March).

In an effort to provide you with more relevant and timely progress data, we
are making the following change:

- You will now be receiving a Quarter 3 - Term 5 Progress Report Card in
the mail in early-March. This should ensure that you know how you/your
student is doing in Periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 (if applicable) *before *starting
Term 7. This report card will *not *include even periods.

- You will then receive a Quarter 3 - Term 6 Progress Report Card in the
mail in mid-April. This should ensure that you know how you/your student is
doing in Periods 0 (if applicable), 2, 4, and 6 *closer* to starting Term
8. This report card will *not* include odd periods.

*It is possible that some of your/your student's teachers may enter
*new* grades
into Illuminate *after *report cards are mailed out so please know there
may be a difference between what you see on the report card and on
Illuminate. Quarter 3 - Term 5 Progress Report Cards will be accurate as of
March 2, 2021.

Please know that these "progress" grades do not go on student transcripts,
only Semester 1 and Semester 2 final grades.

Si tiene alguna pregunta después de leer este mensaje, no responda a este

Actualmente estamos en el sexto período. El cronograma original para enviar
por correo las boletas de calificaciones de progreso incluía enviar a casa
una boleta de calificaciones de progreso para los Términos 5 y 6

En un esfuerzo por brindarle datos de progreso más relevantes y oportunos,
estamos realizando el siguiente cambio:

- A principios de marzo recibirá por correo una boleta de calificaciones de
progreso del Término 3 - Periodo 5. Esto debería asegurar que usted sepa
cómo le está yendo a su estudiante en los Períodos 1, 3, 5 y 7 (si
corresponde) antes de comenzar el Término 7. Esta boleta de calificaciones
no incluirá períodos pares.

- A continuación, recibirá una boleta de calificaciones de progreso
del Término 3 - Periodo 6 por correo a mediados de abril. Esto debería
asegurar que usted sepa cómo le está yendo a su estudiante en los Períodos
0 (si corresponde), 2, 4 y 6 más cerca del inicio del Término 8. Esta
boleta de calificaciones no incluirá períodos impares.

* Es posible que algunos de sus maestros o los de su estudiante ingresen
