Dear Families,



Thank you for your patience as we get through PSAT Registration for
1/26/2021.  We planned to offer this test administration on a first come,
first served basis but Total Registration does not timestamp attempts that
were returned.  Although it was not our intention to run a lottery, because
of the problems that most of you experienced, we now need to do just that.



We have 70 seats, in accordance with current health information, and will
conduct a random drawing of all those who have attempted to register and
those who successfully registered.  We regret the frustration that this
process has created and could never have predicted that this online system
would have worked this way.



Before we run the lottery, we need you to check to see that your student’s
name is on the attached list.  If you DO NOT see their name, please email
me at leahkatz at berkeley.net by Sunday evening at 5pm and include evidence
of your registration attempt.



If you were able to register and paid but are not selected, your money will
be refunded by Total Registration.



Please also be aware that the etree will be the place to read updates,
including if this test needs to be cancelled for Covid safety.
