*Virtual YMCA PE Waiver Program Fall 2020*

*Informational Meeting SEPT 9th 4pm-5pm*


*Additional information meeting for students who missed out on the previous
meetings. This will be the final meeting offered for the semester. Link
below. *


This is an alternative P.E. program is designed to help students obtain the
values and habits that lead to lifelong fitness. During the semester
students participate in virtual fitness classes and self-guided workouts;
all while keeping goals in mind that will help them achieve a healthier
lifestyle. Students will need to complete a minimum of 60 fitness hours
(combination of virtual fitness classes and independent hours) and
additional program requirements to earn a passing grade to receive 5
credits toward Berkeley High School P.E. requirement.

   - Please arrive to the virtual informational meeting on time. Meeting
   will be locked at 4:10pm.
   - Students must sign in with  Berkeley High student email address for
   entry to the meeting.
   - All interested students for the Fall 2020 virtual program must attend 1
   informational meeting, even if you have done the PE Waiver program in
   previous semesters. No exceptions.
   - Informational meetings are open to all students regardless of
   membership status


*Program dates:* September 8-December 18, 2020

*Financial Assistance:*  Financial assistance is available to help make Y
memberships and programs available to people of all ages, abilities, and
backgrounds.  Funds are made available by the generous individuals who
donate to the Y.  The Y will grant financial assistance to the extent that
funds are available.
