CITY OF BERKELEY YOUTHWORKS ANNOUNCEMENT


SUMMER 2020 APPLICATION PROCESS AND PROCEDURES RELATED TO THE CONCERNS OF
THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID19)



*YouthWorks Applications are now online.*  They will be live from *March 1,
2020 - March 31, 2020.*


Applicants can use https://tinyurl.com/COB-youthworks-App to access the
application.


Applicants, parents, and other stakeholders are welcome to *CALL OR EMAIL*
the YouthWorks office.  Per the recent mandate given on Monday March 16,
2020 ordering a shelter in place for Alameda County *OUR OFFICES WILL BE
CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC FROM MONDAY MARCH 16TH - SUNDAY APRIL 5TH 2020*. *There
will be no drop-ins at this time*.  This precaution is being taken in order
for YouthWorks to continue to operate as long as we safely can do so.


We understand that our open door policy is well known and for decades we
have allowed people to drop in during normal business hours (especially
youth) who have questions.  Due to concern about the COVID19 virus the City
of Berkeley Youthworks Program is asking everyone to call or email us with
questions that are program related.


The remaining application and resume workshops facilitated by YouthWorks
staff during the month of March have been canceled; applicants can call or
email the YouthWorks office for more information.

through YouthWorks and answers to frequently asked questions are available
