Schools closed on Monday, January 27 due to semester break; staff
development.



The Foundress, one of Berkeley High's Literary Magazines, is excited to
announce we are beginning the layout and publication of a print edition of
our magazine's "best of". If you want your writing or visual
art/photography to be featured, please submit your work no later than Feb
1st to foundressart at berkeley.net or foundresswriting at berkeley.net. We
publish poetry, short story, multimedia, creative nonfiction, photos,
paintings, illustrations, and online we can even host performance clips and
digital art. Send it in!



FRIDAY NIGHT SPORTS

Boys Soccer hosts Mt. Eden (JV at 4, Varsity at 6): First 20 students are
FREE!

Basketball hosts Piedmont (Boys JV at 4, Girls Varsity at 5:30, Boys
Varsity at 7). Beat the Highlanders!!!



PE Waivers: REMINDER: Spring 2020 • Individual and Group PE Waivers

Are due back in the counseling office no later than

Friday, January 31, 2020.

Please make sure to attach the letter on letterhead from the coach and
proof of payment.

Reminder: Students eligible for the free and reduced lunch program

If you have your eligibility letter for free and reduced lunch, please take
a

picture and save to your phone. Show your phone photo or the actual letter
to staff as proof of eligibility for upcoming prom ticket sales.

The free and reduced lunch program is a confidential program and staff will
not have letters or documentation of eligibility, you must provide this
information. Thank you.
