At the January PTSA Math Discussion Night meeting, everyone agreed that BHS students need more examples and explanations than what is in the Mathematics Vision Project (MVP) curriculum for Math 1,2, and 3.

Do you have a child preparing for the Math 1 or Math 2 final exams next week? Have them check out the videos in LANA, a free chatbot math study web app.

To help students prepare for final exams, LANA provides videos paired with the major topics in each MVP module and the final exam review sheet questions. To access LANA, visit www.Lana.education<http://www.lana.education/> and click "launch app"

Lana has been developed for BHS students by rocket scientist Nina Hooper, a recent Harvard/Stanford graduate in Astrophysics and Aerospace Engineering who approached the PTSA this year to further her progress on a National Science Foundation research grant she's been awarded to develop equitable self-study tools.
