Changemaker: Several teams from Berkeley High have qualified to participate in the Changemaker Global Pitch<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/changemaker-global-pitch-tickets-61905025598> happening this Sunday, and you're invited to come cheer them on! Students from 15 countries will be pitching their social and environmental justice projects to a panel of judges for a chance to win funding for their ideas. The event will have food, drinks, goodie bags, and students can attend for FREE. It's happening this Sunday, June 9th at 6 pm at the David Brower Center in Berkeley. Library: This Friday the library will be closed until 8:45 am, however you can come to the library to print and make copies.

The library will open at 8:45 am on Friday (6/7/19).



The BHS Health Center is opened during summer break. We will be offering all first aid, mental health, and sexual/reproductive health services, on Mondays from 9am-4pm, and Tuesdays through Fridays from 8:30am-4pm, The Health Center is located at H-105-stop by during regular hours to get more information or to make an appointment. We are open to all BHS Students, Independent Studies and Berkeley Tech Students. SPREAD THE WORD!


Summer:

1.    Free Sign-ups NOW for summer achievers come to YAP, 1730 Oregon St. (Incoming 6th grader- current 8th graders) must a Berkeley resident or attend a Berkeley School.

*Mandatory parent meeting on June 11th at 6:30pm.

Camp starts June 17th from 10am-4pm M-F.


2.    If you have younger kids, sign-up now for the Playgrounds Come to YAP, (site; Longfellow, Grove Park, and Malcolm X), Berkeley Resident $5 Non-resident $10 per week per child

Playgrounds start June 17th (Grove 10am-4pm; Longfellow and Malcolm x 11am-5pm M-F)


3.     YAP Teen POOL PARTY.....June 21, 2019 at West Campus Pool! ~6pm, go online to register your kid!!!
