Right now is the last time you can buy your yearbook before the year ends! Yearbooks are now $95 and the price will increase further if not ordered soon. If you are planning on ordering your yearbook, do it ASAP. (As always, students qualifying for free/reduced lunch, only pay $65.) Students - The annual Summer Opportunities Fair will be this Thursday, April 25th during 2nd and 3rd periods in the Jacket Gym. Over 30 companies and organizations will be on campus to offer classes, internships and some paid work.  Ask your teacher to take your class!   The fair will also continue into the first half of lunch, so stop by on you way off campus!

Zero Waste Week continues today! Can you keep going til Friday without making any landfill trash? To learn more and share photos and experiences, follow @bhszerowasteweek on instagram. Also, don't forget to come out to the senior steps today at lunch! The Green Team will be hosting a fun event with games, painting, and bike-powered smoothies.

Advanced Placement Exams: All students registered for this year's AP exams must attend one of two meetings on today~Tuesday (April 23) or Wednesday (April 24) after school in the Community Theater. You will fill in information needed only on the first answer sheet you will use this year. Bring two or more number 2 pencils (no mechanical pencils, please) and a book or binder to serve as a writing surface. The meetings may run to 5 p.m. All need to stay until dismissed.

Berkeley City College (BCC)~Did you know that BUSD students can enroll in Berkeley City College (BCC) courses and earn college and high school credit?
With the summer course enrollment period approaching (high school students can begin registering for summer courses on May 6th), BCC is hosting a dual enrollment event for BHS 9th grade students who are interested in learning more about the following:
*Summer course options and recommendations
*Enrollment process, including the online application and dual enrollment form
*Benefits for completing dual enrollment 
Students will also hear from current high school and college students who have extensive dual enrollment experiences. 
Date/time: Wednesday, May 31st, 9:40 am-11:38 am (periods 2 and 3)
Location: (BCC) Berkeley City College Auditorium 
To sign up for this event, please see either Ms. Le or Ms. Quiroz for a field trip permission slip. Space is limited. Please turn in your permission slip to either Ms. Lee or Ms. Quiroz as soon as possible.

Jacket Gear sales will end Tuesday, April 30th. Orders will take about 2-3 weeks to arrive at BHS once we close the store.
*This deadline allows the order a good chance of arriving before the school year ends. If for some reason it is delayed, you can pick it up from Coach Tiffany in the BHS Counseling office through June 28th.
