*The BHS Library Presents… Elizabeth Acevedo! *


Elizabeth Acevedo is the daughter of Dominican immigrants. She is a
National Poetry Slam Champion. Her debut novel, *The Poet X*, won the
National Book Award. And she is coming here to the Community Theater at
Berkeley High on Tuesday, May 14th, 2019.


If you would like to purchase an *autographed* copy of her book(s) you
can ORDER
ONLINE <https://www.mrsdalloways.com/book/bhs-author-event> from Mrs.
Dalloway's.  All orders receive a 20% discount and must be placed by
Friday, May 10th.  **Remember to *enter BHS in the Coupon Code* field to

Whether or not your student attends the actual event, they will pick up
their signed book from the BHS Library during Lunch on Tuesday or
Wednesday.
