The Berkeley City Club CONSERVANCY is hosting a free STEAM program for young women on Sunday, March 10 at 1:30 pm to 4 p.m. in Julia Morgan’s historic community clubhouse, the Berkeley City Club, 2315 Durant Avenue, Berkeley.

Julia Morgan-Architect and Engineer-is famous for designing Hearst Castle.

Complimentary refreshments.

Professional women educated in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics will inspire young women to embrace their fields.

Panel includes: an astrophysicist using “Big Data” for analysis, an urban anthropologist, a UCB economist who also brings electricity to underserved in Africa and India, a sustainable farm-to-table farmer, an EBMUD engineer, a blacksmith who creates functional art, and a former professional dancer now a medical doctor.

Annual Talent Show ~ Come see Berkeley High performers next Friday at the annual Talent Show! There will be a variety of performers such as bands, singers, and a step act! Tickets go on sale next week during lunch and before the show, but you can purchase them early from Junior Class Leaders. Tickets are $5 each. In addition to amazing performers, there will be Chief of Publicity candidates MC-ing the show! Come show support to the Berkeley High community!


EAOP Juniors, Sophomores and Freshman: Workshops on summer opportunities are happening this week on Wednesday, and Thursday. Please check your email so you can sign up for a workshop. If you are unable to attend, please contact Dom in the CCC.
