For all grades: US Marine Corps in CCC on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at lunch in CCC

As a post-secondary option and in compliance with the U.S. Department of Education, Sergeant Patrick Grace of the United States Marine Corps will be in the CCC on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at lunch to discuss programs.

U.S. Department of Education Policy Guidance- Access to High School Students by Military Recruiters "require local educational agencies (LEAs) receiving assistance under the Elementary and Secondary Act of 1965 (ESEA) to give military recruiters the same access to secondary school students as they provide to post-secondary institutions or to prospective employers."

The policy is included in the BUSD Parent-Student Handbook, Section 10.8- ”school districts are now required to allow the military the same access to high schools and student information as is given to colleges, universities, or institutions of higher learning.”
