Donations needed before this Friday, December 21st

Paw club has put out donation bins for the dogs affected by the fires. Any pet food or warm beds and blankets help. They'll be in the gallery of the C-building and in front of the leadership office in the D-building across from the cafeteria.



This week~Softball will be holding a pre-season meeting for all interested students on Wednesday, December 19th at 4:00 p.m. on the varsity field adjacent to the Athletics Plaza and by the Jacket Stadium.



SAT/ACT/IB/AP PREP- BOOK DONATIONS/DRIVE:

Prep-books can be very expensive and a lot of students at BHS do not have the financial means to purchase them. If you have any old Prep-books or would like to buy some to donate

PLEASE BRING them to Mr Kaku's Room (C133) anytime between now and the end of the year!

·  Students will be able to receive PREP BOOKS during Lunch Tuesday Dec 18th and a date after-school the week of Dec 18th TBD

·  We are hoping to keep doing prep book drives at different times during this year so stayed tuned and CONTINUE TO PASS ON THE information to anyone who has already taken the SATS/AP/IB/AC TESTS!!



BHS STUDENT EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

Sakai, Japan, is Berkeley's oldest sister city, and the Berkeley-Sakai Sister City Association is looking for families to host 1 or 2 Japanese students next summer from July 26 to July 31. We are also looking for students who would be interested in participating in a student exchange to Sakai and other parts of Japan in July 2020. If you are interested in hosting or going to Sakai (or both) , please visit our website at www.berkeley-sakai.org<http://www.berkeley-sakai.org/> and fill out an Interest Form. Save the date, mark your calendars~We would also like to invite you to our Annual Dinner on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Berkeley Methodist United Church. Please join us!
