Dear Lovers of Music and Supporters of our Student Musicians,



Please join us at our fifth annual, Music and Wine Tasting Party!



The event is scheduled for Saturday, January 12th, 2019 from 7-9:30 p.m. at St. Alban's in Albany. (Thank you, St. Alban's, for hosting us for the FIFTH time!) We have kept the ticket prices at the same bargain rate as previous years; $35 for one person, $60 for a pair. The event benefits the Berkeley High Band and Orchestra program; proceeds will be used to pay for sheet music, instruments, supplies, field trip scholarships, instrument coaches, scholarships for this year's road trip, and more. ADULTS ONLY, PLEASE!



Music from Anna Presler and Leighton Fong (Left Coast Chamber Ensemble), blues singer (and BHS parent and alum) Lissy Walker, jazz/blues singer Kyra Gordon, jazz pianist Erica Oba, Alicia Telford (French horn), Carly Jacobs (violin) and BUSD music teachers Karen Wells, Mary Dougherty, Nancy Boyles and Divesh Karamchandanhi. With our ever popular emcee (and BHS alum) Robin Claire Barnes!



Delicious Treats: wine, cocktails and finger foods - admission includes two drink/raffle tickets!



Silent Auction: BAO parents Patty Coe and Barry Freifeld have donated two nights in their Donner Lake cabin for a silent auction at the party. Three small bedrooms (sleeps 4) two baths (!) AND it comes with kayaks, SUPs, an electric piano, and there's a boat dock across the street. If you can't make it to the party, a proxy bidder can take care of your needs.



In-House Raffle: We will once again be holding a raffle JUST for those at the party. Prizes include: private instrument instruction with Karen Wells and Mary Dougherty; a private singing lesson with Kyra Gordon; tickets to Cal Shakespeare Festival, Shotgun Players, Youth Musical Theater Company, Woodminster Theater, and Berkeley Symphony; a gift certificate to Forrest's Music, bottles of wine, and more wonderful prizes yet to come...
