BHS Advocacy
Have you heard about BHS Advocacy? We're here to help with any conflict you may have in class or with a teacher!
BHS Advocacy is a club that was new on campus last year with the mission to help create a more positive and productive school climate by focusing on the classroom. BHS Advocacy is available as a resource to both students and teachers in helping to address classroom conflict.
The services we offer include facilitated conversations with teachers, help in addressing issues one-on-one, listening to your concerns, and connections to other resources on campus.
If you'd like to get involved, either as an advocate or if in need of assistance, please come to a meeting G212 Wednesdays at lunch! You can feel free to email elizabethschaferstudents.berkeley.net or zevmrxkahn at students.berkeley.net.

Auditions! Carrie the Musical
If you like to sing, act, or dance, then come out and audition for our spring musical (rehearsals begin in February and end mid April). Auditions will be Friday, November 30th after school, sign up on the A building bulletin board, slots are filling up fast! To audition just prepare a one minute cut of a musical theater song and we recommend bringing a one minute monologue. Hope to see you all there!! No prior experience required!!
SAT BOOK DONATIONS/DRIVE:
SAT textbooks can be very expensive and a lot of students at BHS do not have the financial means to purchase them. If you have any old SAT textbooks PLEASE BRING them to Mr Kaku's Room (C133) anytime between now and November 28!
Students will be able to receive SAT BOOKS during the Culture Fair on NOV 29!
********Please pass this information on to anyone who has already taken the SATs, consider asking your teacher to write in on the board or even personally give an announcement in class!(Everything helps!)
Do you have any ACT/ SAT / AP /IB test prep books? If you do bring them to C135! The Academic Support team is organizing a book drive for college prep books. You can even bring in prep books that are used and/or written in. It’s so important that you bring in any books you can because not every family can afford to buy them, and no student shouldn’t do their best on these tests because they can afford a practice book! The book drive is Thursday at the culture fair. Remember to bring your books to C135.
Thank you
