PCAD Presents: Exploring the social cultures of BHS and how black males can achieve socially, emotionally and academically
Join us as we talk with BUSD’s new African American Success Project manager, Kamar O’Guinn and Durwin Brown (aka Brotha D) the mentor for the Talented Tenth, Berkeley high’s black male achievement student group. Together we will consider both positive and challenging aspects of the school’s cultures and ways we can better equip, support and advocate for our male students of African descent.
Join us for this important PCAD (Parents of Children of African Descent) meeting this Saturday November 3 from 10 - 12pm in the College Career Center (2nd floor, Main Administration Building).
Please bring your Berkeley high students to join in the conversation.
Refreshments will be provided.
We hope to see your face in the place!
