FEMA ALERT:

At 11:18 a.m. PT on Wednesday, Oct. 3, FEMA will send out the first message testing the new nationwide presidential-level Wireless Emergency Alert. It will go to every smart phone in the United States that is turned on and within range of a cell tower. There is no opt-out.

Berkeley High School's African American Studies Department Celebrates 50 years~

Get Ready to Join the Celebration on Saturday October 20th! The BHS African American Studies department is hosting a Kick-Off Festival to celebrate its 50 Year Anniversary. Come to the BHS courtyard to enjoy music, great food, shopping, poetry, line dancing, and more! Saturday 10/20/2018 from Noon to 6 pm. Oh yeah, 4:30 pm starts the old school kickball tournament so bring your A game! Invite your family and friends to this free event!

Take the PSAT on Saturday October 13, 2018!

WHO? All 11th Graders and interested 10th Graders

WHAT? PSAT is great preparation for SAT and Juniors are eligible for National Merit Scholarships Competition

WHEN? Saturday, October 13, 2018 (Note: the date in the BHS Student Planner is incorrect)

WHERE? Berkeley High School; students should report to the Campus Green on Oct. 13 by 8AM to find their  room assignments posted on the C building doors

COST?

·         Fee is $25 payable in cash, check, or money order written to Berkeley High School

·         Juniors participating in the free and reduced lunch program pay $5; please bring a copy of the district approval letter or email when you register

·         You can bring this letter to Ms. Williams at sign up or to Ms. Jacobs in the CCC beforehand

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

·      11th Graders: Registration is September 19th-October 3rd at lunch and 3:30-4:10PM at the door to the East Gallery of the Community Theater

·         10th Graders: Registration is September 26th-October 3rd at lunch and 3:30-4:10PM at the door to the East Gallery of the Community Theater.
