Naviance Updates
Naviance Letters of Recommendations are now live, students may request teacher letters of rec through Naviance (under Colleges tab --> Colleges Home --> scroll down to "Letters of Recommendation"). Students: Naviance requests for letters of rec should only be sent after an in-person conversation in which the teacher agrees to write a letter of rec. If the BHS staff-member you are requesting a letter from is not on the drop-down list, please let Mr. An know to create them an account.

For "Other Recommenders" use the "Other Recommender" portal in Common App not Naviance. Naviance is for Teacher Recs (BHS) only.

College Essay Readers
One our department's most valuable resources College Essay Readers will begin this week. Students may meet with professionals who specialize in the art of the college essay in the CCC for essay coaching. This service is a drop-in basis only (no appointments) so encourage your students to get to the CCC swiftly. Their hours are:
~Monday mornings 8:30 am-10:00 am
~Monday-Thursday during lunch period
~Monday-Thursday after school (starts 3:30 PM)
