Hey Yellowjackets!
Come out and cheer Berkeley High Community!!


  *   Fall Season has begun. Some sports still have room for student-athletes and many have closed. Email athleticdirector at berkeley.net with questions.
     *   Please check information on the Berkeley High School website, Athletics tab.
     *   If you would like to participate in a Fall sport you MUST have a Family ID registration. Then you must upload a doctor's clearance to that registration (you can register now and go back and edit to upload form). Find the Family ID link on the Berkeley High School website, Athletics tab. Find the downloadable form for the Doctor to sign on the same website, Athletics tab.
     *   If you already registered and were not approved for a Fall sport (link to approved list is on the BHS website, Athletics tab) you may email athleticdirector at berkeley.net to ask why. Or if you want to add an additional sport to your registration. Or if you have questions in general.

  *   If you are interested in a Winter and/or Spring sport you can go ahead NOW and register for Family ID. No reason to wait!

  *   Boys Basketball open gym every Monday and Wednesday 4:30-6:30; Girls Basketball open gym every Tuesday and Thursday 4:30-6:30 this month. Come on out and play some ball and get ready for Winter sports!
  *   Want to help support Athletics? Come to the 1st Berkeley Athletic Fund (BAF) meeting of this year - Monday 9/10 in the library 7-9 pm

·         Golf, Girls vs. Piedmont @ Claremont Country Club
All levels 3:00

·         Boys Basketball OPEN Gym 4:30-6:30

·         BERKELEY ATHLETIC FUND meeting - Athletic Boosters are all welcome!
7:00-9:00 pm. In the BHS Library

Tuesday 9/11

·         Tennis, Girls vs. Alameda @ Alameda High School
All Levels 3:30

·         Waterpolo, Girls and Boys vs. Alameda @ Berkeley High School, Pool
JV and Varsity - Games starting at 4:00, 5:00, 6:00 and 6:45

·         Volleyball, Girls vs. San Lorenzo @ San Lorenzo High School
JV 5:00, Varsity 6:15

·         Girls Basketball OPEN Gym 4:30-6:30

Wednesday 9/12

·         Open gym Basketball - Jacket gym 11:30-12:20

·         Boys Basketball OPEN Gym 4:30-6:30

Thursday 9/13

  *   Golf, Girls vs. Alameda, Bishop O'Dowd @ Tilden Park
3:00 All Levels

  *   Volleyball, Girls vs. Castro Valley @Berkeley Donahue Gym
4:15 Freshman, 5:30 JV, 6:45 Varsity

·         Girls Basketball OPEN Gym 4:30-6:30

Friday 9/14
Football vs. Vanden @ Berkeley Jacket Stadium
JV 5:00, Varsity 7:30
TICKETS (cash only):

o   $8 General Admission,

o   $5 Senior Citizens and children under 12; $5 High School Students with ID;

o   Free for BHS students with an ASB sticker.
Want to purchase an ASB sticker? Contact Mr. Villavicencio or the Front Desk.

Saturday 9/15

  *   Volleyball, Girls Varsity Tournament East County Invitational vs. TBA
  *   Cross Country, Boys and Girls Farmer Invitational @ Hayward High
