Seniors-

Congratulations on your graduation from Berkeley High School! It has been my pleasure to work with you. Continued success and happiness to all!

Let me end the year in the same way I began - reminding you of tasks to do. Here goes:

1. Have you requested a final transcript to be sent to your college or university?

If not, we are open for business tomorrow and next week. I am in the CCC from 8:00-1:45; Registrar's open 9:00-3:00.

Fill out a blue transcript request form in the CCC or Registrar's Office with a STAMPED and ADDRESSED envelope to your new school. So sorry we do not have stamps.
Look up the exact address where the college wants transcripts mailed- usually the Office of Undergraduate Admissions or Office of the Registrar. Return address must be Berkeley High School, not your address. Write FINAL across the top of the request form and submit to the Registrar's Office.
Most colleges request the final transcript by July 1st or July 15th. The staff in the Registrar's Office will send out final transcripts as soon as your teachers submit the final grades.

Complete a blue transcript request form (located in the Registrar's Office) and provide a stamped addressed envelope for each transcript request.
1.    Write out on the BHS return address: Berkeley High School, Registrar's office, 1980 Allston Way, Berkeley, CA. 947024.
2.    If you have more than one request you will need to staple all blue forms together and paper clip them to the stack of envelopes.
3.    To PICK-UP an Official Transcript for your own use, fill out the blue form and check the pick-up box and provide the School, Scholarship or Agency name in the address area.

2. Did you take any college classes like BCC or Cal? If so, you must request an OFFICIAL transcript to be sent from the college to the college you will attend in Fall 2018. Many colleges have on-line ordering requests.

3. Did you earn college credit from AP tests or IB tests? If so, go to your College Board account and request official AP test scores to be sent to your college. The cost is $15.

If you cannot access IB scores, contact Mr. Young at chrisyoung at berkeley.net<mailto:chrisyoung at berkeley.net> ASAP.

4. Your diploma will be mailed to you in the summer. Did you change your mailing address? If so, contact the Registrar, Ms. Mellion, to change your address in order to receive your diploma at the correct address.

5. Please return all textbooks, library books, athletic gear, pay any fines. Thank you!
