Interested in trying out for one of the 29 California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Sports at Berkeley High next year?


Check the list on the Berkeley High website, Athletics tab.  Many programs will be offering summer opportunities to be involved. You can find Coach contact info there as well.

Please take time this summer to complete an Athletic Registration on the Family ID site (link on the Berkeley High website, Athletics tab - http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/athletics/).  You will need to have completed this registration BEFORE tryouts in order to be eligible to tryout.  You will also need to have a doctor's clearance to participate in tryouts and on a team.  Many doctor's have forms, but you can also find one to download on the Berkeley High website, Athletics tab.  Please be sure your doctor signs, dates and clears you and adds their office stamp to the form.  You will then upload the form to your Family ID registration.

If you have any questions on how to use Family ID they have a wonderful helpline and you can call or email them for support.


You will only need to fill out the Family ID registration once during the year.  Register during the summer and you will be set to tryout Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons!  You must do a new Family ID registration for each year, so even if you registered in 2017-18 you will need to do a new one.
