Morning Sports Report

Today the varsity baseball and JV softball teams play at home, while the JV baseball and varsity softball teams play on the road.

Reminders from the BHS Administrative and Safety Teams

A reminder to all students: Smoking and using vaping devices on or off campus is strictly prohibited. Smoking and vaping on campus, including in the bathrooms, will set off the school fire alarm and require a full school evacuation. This is a massive disruption to our school and causes real harm to individuals with seizure disorders and other sensitivities. Students caught smoking or vaping on campus will be held accountable and will receive an automatic suspension, in addition to other consequences.

Transcript Review Clinic

Did you know that High School Graduation requirements are different than 4 Year college requirements? Do you want hands-on review of your middle & high school transcript? Are you really sure you are taking the classes that will count for college acceptance? This Saturday, BUSD is sponsoring a transcript review and college readiness clinic at Berkeley Youth Alternatives, or BYA (1255 Allston Way). The event is from 9:00 until noon, and you can RSVP by sending a message to ofee at berkeley.net.

Prom 2018

Prom 2018 is this Saturday! Tickets are $80 each ($70 each for students enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program), and juniors and seniors can purchase tickets with cash or check in the Leadership Office during lunch and after school, or you can buy tickets online (for a small service charge) at bhsprom2018.bpt.me. Students with more than 30 unverified period absences are not eligible to attend prom, and guests must be approved before you can purchase a ticket for them.
