*1. Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship: *

Eligibility:

1. Be a graduating high school senior;

2. Plan to attend an accredited and approved four-year institution within
the United States;

3. Show leadership potential;

4. Demonstrate a dedication to community service;

5. Present evidence of financial need;

6. Be a United States citizen;

7. Have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical
reading sections or a composite ACT score of 21;

8. Not possess a degree from a 2 or 4-year College when applying for the
scholarship.

*2. Lewis Howard Latimer Scholarship from the NETwork Bay Area Chapter
Black Integrated Communication Professionals*

Due February 19, 2018

For African American high school seniors living in the greater San
Francisco Bay Area in recognition of academic and civic achievement during
high school years.  The scholarship is named in the honor of Lewis Howard
Latimer, who was an African American inventor and draftsman. His blueprints
were used as the basis for a court decision for patents to Alexander Graham
Bell for the telephone. One-year non-renewable award ranging up to $2,000.
Multiple scholarships will be awarded.



Eligibility:

1. Academic good standing (GPA minimum 2.5)

2. African American senior, full-time status in an accredited high school

3. Declared intention to enroll in:  four-year accredited college, two-year
community college, or accredited business school (for business school,
major must be in Computer Science or related to the Telecommunications
industry)

4. Letter of Recommendation needed

*3. Kaiser Permanente Asian Association*

4. Demonstrated personal, community and/or academic success

and identity

  c. Personal qualities (adult relative or family friend)

5. Photo of applicant (send by email if possible)
