[BHS Etree] ADMIN: Info on Clearing Unexcused Absences

*Clearing Unexcused absences: *Students are able to clear up to 12 "UNX"
period absences from the previous month. *Every hour of Saturday School or
Tutoring will clear one "UNX" period absence.*  “CUT” codes cannot be
cleared.



a.       *Saturday School:* Saturday School happens twice a month. Saturday
School can be used to clear up to 3 unverified period absences from the
previous month. Saturday school is from 9-12pm. Students must sign up in
the attendance office before school, at lunch or after school. Saturday
School is limited to 30 students only, sign up is on a first come, first
serve basis.



b.      *Tutoring: *Students may go to the College and Career Center after
school, or teacher tutorials to clear absences. Please collect an Unexcused
Absence Clearance Form from Mr. Laurel in the College Career Center to be
filled out by your teacher.
