Mark your calendars - you do not want to miss this! BHS Band and Orchestra
will be holding their fourth annual Music and Wine Tasting Party on
Saturday, January 6th from 7-9:30 p.m. at St. Alban’s in Albany. (Thank
you, St. Alban’s, for hosting!) The event benefits the Berkeley High Band
and Orchestra program; proceeds will be used to pay for sheet music,
instruments, supplies, field trip scholarships, instrument coaches, and
more. ADULTS ONLY, PLEASE!



This event is *AWESOME*, and I’m not making this up! Music from Anna
Presler and Leighton Fong (Left Coast Chamber Ensemble), Isaac
Pastor-Chernak and Alison Lee, Rachel Durling and the Baguette Quartet,
Josh and Diane Wirtschafter, jazz/blues singer Kyra Gordon*, *BUSD music
teachers Karen Wells and Mary Dougherty, Madeline Prager, and many more
special guests in the works!



We have received the donation of extraordinary Napa Valley Cabernet
Sauvignon from vintner and BAO parent Jim Wert, as well as lovely cocktails
and liqueurs from Artemesia. Ticket-holders get two free drink/raffle
tickets with the price of admission. *THE HALL **ONLY HOLDS 120 PEOPLE*.
